Become A Friend to the Market!

IMG_2224The MIFM brings family, friends and neighbors together for 18 community celebrations during the market season.  You’ll probably agree that MIFM provides the best food and local products on Mercer Island: produce, meats, fish, eggs, and flowers fresh from the farm, field and sea as well as artisanal foods such as breads, cheese and jam carefully crafted of top quality and mostly local ingredients. And you probably look forward to the top quality and fabulous street food including pizza, soup, hamburgers and quinoa bowls.

We appreciate that you already support the market as a shopper.  MIFM is supported in part from modest fees from our vendors.  However, those fees only cover 2/3 of costs.  As such, we rely greatly on the generous support of individual donors to keep this important community resource thriving and growing.  Our financial supporters are truly ‘Friends of the Market’.

Become a Friend of the Market today and help us ensure another great season of farm fresh food, local products and gatherings of family and friends.

Matching Donation:

Wish you could give more? You can when your company is enrolled in our matching program! (Your gift + their match = double the impact.) If you know your company matches charitable gifts, but their name does not appear below, let us know and we will be happy to include them!

Many employers offer matching gift programs for charitable contributions made by current employees and retirees. Such programs may allow donors to double or triple the amount of their contribution to MIFM. Please consult your benefits coordinator or human resource manager to learn how to ensure the match is made. If no formal matching program is established, ask your employer—your gift may be matched anyway, because of your inquiry.  The following is a list of many companies with matching gift programs.
